DU: More than 57 thousand registrations for under-graduate course in 24 hours

In Delhi University (DU), more than 57,000 students have registered for admission in the under graduate(UG) course in 24 hours. The registration process on the portal started at 5 pm on Saturday and will continue till July 4.
According to official data shared by DU officials, as of 5:30 pm on Sunday, 57,312 students have registered in undergraduate courses while 18,837 students have registered for postgraduate courses.
At the same time, 2,071 students have registered for admission to PhD. DU will organize a webinar (online seminar) on 23 June to remove doubts regarding the admission process.
This year the process from registration to verification will be online and contactless. The registration process for university admission this year has been delayed due to the Corona virus epidemic. Last year the registration process started on 30 May.
