Delhi University extends online registration process for admission till 18 July

On Saturday, The University of Delhi (DU) announced that the online registration process for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil and PhD programs has been extended till July 18. A university official said that the decision to extend the date has been taken in view of notification of announcement of CBSE result and postponement of JEE and NEET examinations.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had announced that the results of class 10th and 12th examinations would be announced by July 15. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) had postponed the NEET and JEE examinations till September in view of fears of increase in Covid-19 cases. The last deadline for online registration was 4 July but now it has been extended to 18 July.
Students will now be able to register on the university's admission portal by 5 pm. Till Saturday, 3,32,359 students had registered on the portal for admission to undergraduate courses, while 2,17,971 had paid the registration fee. In the same period, 1,30,781 students registered on the portal for admission to postgraduate courses.
