Haryana Police decided to set up cyber response center in every district of Haryana to effectively deal with the increasing cybercrime day by day.
Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Manoj Yadav said that these centers will be built by strengthening the existing cyber cell in view of the increasing threats posed by digitization and modernization. All cyber related complaints including bank fraud, misuse of payment gateways, Facebook, Twitter etc. will be dealt through these centers. He said that there has been a spurt in cyber crime during the Corona lockdown as fraudsters are using the current situation and uncertainty to cheat people. These centers will be equipped with deployment of specialized cyber personnel. The services of recently recruited Tech-Savvy Sub-Inspectors and Constables will be used for this purpose.
